I refused to allow my three year old grand-daughter, Gabrielle, to call me by my first name, Antoinette. When she argued that she was different from the other seventeen children who call me Nana, I suggested that she create a special name for me. After about five minutes she returned to announce that she'd call me Antonana. Of course I thought she was absolutely brilliant. Years later when I was asked to give my "line of products" a name I asked for permission to use Antonana, Creator of fine soap and scents. Somehow, it not only identified the woman I'd grown to be but the products I made, as well. The combination was perfect. Antoinette is regal, sophisticated, elegant and means" priceless." Nana is warm, nurturing, and strongly suggests "one who feeds others." This is an accurate description of the intention that is lovingly extended to you in  Rituals products.
