In The Beginning Is The Bath
A friend who worked with me in the field of mental health taught me to make cold processed soap several years ago.We believed it would be a valuable stress management technique for me because it requires me to be single-focused. I cannot multitask (as I am inclined to do) when I handle lye. I can only do one thing at a time. I found the experience to be completely familiar and a natural progression from my mixing of balms and oils and i immediately began to put it all together. My basic cold processed soap recipe usually begins with olive, coconut, and palm oils then expands to include other combinations to accomplish what you want for your skin. Some of my favorites are: Moisturizing Shea Butter, which might reduce skin discoloration and have some sun screen protection, Humectant Castor Oil, Cell Regenerative Avocado, Protective, moisturizing Cocoabutter.Vegetable Glycerine Soap
Our vegetable glycerine soap is known to be cleansing, emollient, moisturizing and even exciting. I've added delectable fragrances, nourishing botancals and delicious natural colorants. These delightful creations soothe and nourish your skin, please the eye, and enhance the beauty of your bath, kitchen or garden. And like their mouthwatering descriptions they look good enough to eat. They will leave no film or unpleasant residue on your skin.
Some of these selections even combine handcrafted, coldprocessed soap with the extracted glycerine to produce a divine combination of all the best soap attributes.
Our very popular Holy Neroli soap includes our infusion of calendula oil and crushed calendula flowers. Customers report that this bar helps their exzema and other forms of dermatitis. We love the addition of botanicals for their beauty and their unmistakable medicinal value.
You're invited to try it and see for yourself.
